Just got to be patient, hard to say that when you want the car soon. I just bought a '11 palladium silver, P31 well optioned with 50k miles. It was out of state, I live in california and the car was in georgia. I've lived in Tampa for many years and you should be able to find a few. Autotrader has a couple of other ones in black exterior out of Miami but i'm weary of any used car dealership in miami. typically, they buy out the ones coming out of leases. GL with the hunt.
Where'd you get the '11 P31? Was it the one at Nalley VW in Alpharetta? There was a Silver '11 P31 for sale there back in April. Had aftermarket exhaust. If that's the one then I sat in your car :P ... That was the first C63 I looked at before eventually finding the one I have now. Or was it the one at atlanta luxury motors? Either way nice purchase! Grats!

lol small world, yes it was the one at Nalley. I'm still in Afghanistan and have not driven or seen the car in person, my brother will get it before I do and drive it before I do. Thanks, you're the first confirmation I have of the car's goodness. Going by the pictures, autochek and carfax. Looking at the pictures of the car, I did notice the tips being different or at least looked slightly different than stock. Kind of curious as to what kind of exhaust that is. Thanks.
First of all @properstyle - thank you for your service! Are you required to go through Tri Care? If so - I would make sure that all medical related matters you incur through Tri Care is documented...twice. Best to be on the safe side.
Secondly, just a car brother. You can always get another one.
So heres where the bad story gets worse. I find a 2011 with 51k on it in white with a P30 package, Sounds great right? Well I go to the dealership and they let me test drive by my self, sounds good right?
Well I take off and let the car heat up and then get on it, and holy ***** the car reved so damn fast. ok I'm loving it so far then something says not that you have gotten on the car pull over and check it out. I pull over in a lot pop the hood. I go to pick up the hood and the latch is really loose hood feels sloppy, I raise the hood up and I see a quarter size amount of oil on the AMG badge on the intake, that's odd.
I don't see any oil leaking any where. Ok maybe someone just spilled it during service. Then I smell oil. I rev the car and see smoke from the back of the motor, faint but I can see it. I look under the car and the car is dripping oil and quicly. WTF I take the car back to the dealer and just say I'm not liking the tan interior. I was kinda bummed I was really looking forward to owning a P30 car.
There are a lot of 11's coming off lease. Most of them have had the crap stomped out of them.
Also, beware of STORM CARS. Lots of cars that have been flooded out in New York and New Jersey from Hurricane Sandy have made there way onto the car market by way of unscrupulous car dealers.
I hate car salesman and car dealerships. Absolute scum of the planet wearing suits and trying to pretend they are professionals. Never tust a car salesman.
Well folks we are back in the game, its been a very trying month but the wife has her C63s back. After doing a long search it was down picking up mikepro's p30 c63 and a White 2010 Rentech tune C63. We wanted mikes car but getting a warranty for the car was not going to happen for antyhing less than 6k for only 2 years of coverage. Mikes car is down right beautiful to say the least, and he a great guy. We decided to get the rentech C63, fully load artic white with paint matched centers 34k on the body. Enough talk here are the pics.
The issue you had with test driving the one burning oil, and then as pointed out flood damaged cars hitting the market is why im being cautious to try and go to reputable dealers or preferably CPO.
You're lucky to be in florida I'm seeing a lot of good deals there, similar car's in Texas are 5-10k more in some cases
Looks like it is already lowered and lightly modded. Nice
I had the same issue with mine when I bought it 2 years ago. Factory warranty was already out and I paid $6k for my 3 years/40000 miles extended warranty .
How much did you pay for that sedan?

To be honest the CPO at the pinbrooke pines dealer had issues of it's on, dings and scratches and the head lighs had what look to be stree cracks on the inside, the dealer ship was not willing to replace the headlights, only took 1k off the asking price but at 1200 alight that doesn't do very much.

To be honest this has been my worse experience with an insurance company. Between them taking their sweet time to value the vehicle all awhile I'm still being charged interest on the car taking away from my value pay out. I am still waiting on my refund on my previous warranty of 3400 dollars which I had to finace into this loan raising my new monthly payment 70 dollars amontht. I was very very close to dropping USAA as a insurance company all togeher after this experience, the statement insurance companies are not your friend is so damn true.
With all the crap I've had to deal with the guy that hit me is lucky I can't sue for the pain ans suffering caused.

For the car we payed 37.5k 2010 34k miles on the warranty doing full coverage with no deductable I paid 4089 for 36 months or 36k miles.

Interesting because i saw one at that dealership that the price looked too good to be true based on ones here...i had half thought about getting my dealer to buy it and ship it in, but now i know why it looked too good to be true.
The price you mentioned you paid and what you got is exactly what i'm looking for, but the prices here are all jacked up for anything under 40k miles...the hunt goes on for me and happy driving for you its great looking
That's so bogus. I'd probably assault someone if they crashed my car, unless of course I was too injured in the accident. Even then I might just crawl towards them, bloody and bruised, and take a swing.

Sucks about the dealer negotiation process. This was my first car car this I had to negotiate the price (family worked at dealer, Costco, auto broker, etc), and the people at Loeber outside Chicago were easy to deal with. They offered me as much for my trade in as the BMW dealer and knocked $2500 off when the price was already fair (with 14k on the odometer).
I am also surprised that USAA was difficult with you, as I have only had wonderful experiences with them for both auto and home insurance claims. Granted, totaling a car is more complex.
You just seem to have some bad luck, but it looks like it is slowly working out.
