I purchased these taillights too from ebay and they're great. (THANKS TO MIKE HE TOLD ME ABOUT THEM WHEN I ASKED HIM COUPLE MONTHS AGO)
Looks amazing blacked out and it was easy to install I did them all by myself (took 30 minutes about) annoying part was unscrewing the bolts other than that it was quick and easy.
I don't do anything myself because I'm not very good with cars but this was so easy to do that I was capable of doing it.
No check engine light or anything simply plug and play.
Mike you can try selling them on ebay I sold mine on ebay for $310 + I made extra 8$ on shipping lol.

Can you post some real life pictures? I'd like to see more before I decide to pull the trigger on them. I am completely happy with my OEM style and wasn't contemplating changing them but I figure if they look good then why I not plus I have been having an itch to spend some money.

Thanks for the pics Mark. Is this the same set that was posted in an ebay link above? I like the look of them when they light up but not so much when they are off. Feels a bit too dark for my taste. Hmm...might wait until the tail light recall that's coming is done and then look into ordering these for my car!

They are pretty dark when the lights are off, I personally love it because my car is silver and in my opinion silver cars blacked out look really nice (same with red cars).
They were extremely easy to install. I believe there are 4 bolts on each taillight you just unscrew them and put the new housing in then plug it into the wire and screw it on and your done. This is the only thing I did myself on my car and I'm not very good at car stuff but it was easy for me.
The reverse lights are beautiful there like bright white.
The turning/hazard lights are orange/amber and they match the side mirror turning lights.
