Nothing wrong with getting a ZR1, prices are coming down a bit due to the C7s out there. While I have good numbers you get the weight savings of the ZR1, use of carbon fiber parts, aluminum frame vice my steel frame, etc. Enjoy it.

Yeah in Australia they're very rare as they need to be imported from the U.S and changed to RHD.
I'm trying to source a good one from the boys in SoCal. I'll see how I go.

Every damn thing on that site is expensive.
No offense to those who have made purchases there, to each their own, but $200 for a 1" dia sized piece of cf... Have we become so complacent that our rationale gets thrown out the door when it comes to worth?
I for one didn't grow up with a silver spoon... and my lord am I thankful.
Get yourself some red cf fabric and wrap that sob for $10 if it is all about the look. If it is all about the status, buy the button I guess.
Originally I had thought it was a whole new button that lit up, it is literally an overlay of red cf. hahahaha
Perspective - My Mode Carbon CF Diffuser (and I can make this comparison as MC is real cf) was only a few hundred more than this little thing. LOL

I just paid $265 incl delivery to AUS, then i get an email saying someone has them for $140.
Hahaha the quality better be good otherwise i'm using it as a lid for something.
I never complain about pricing because i knew when i bought this car as a daily and decided to mod the f*ck out of it, that nothing is cheap. Try owning a Ferrari that used to be driven daily, now we're talking $$$

You can't spend $10 and get something that looks decent. Happy to be proven wrong (with photos), but I doubt that will happen. Also not sure there is much status associated with a cf start button, they just look good and are a pretty cheap way to personalise your car. I can't understand people spending what they do on a c63, but then coughing and spluttering at $150. I almost spend that a week on petrol, maybe I should have bought a Prius?
What you spent on the car has nothing to do with the overpricing of the sticker being justified. The worth and price of the car should not increase the price or value of a simple accessory like this. He's not saying $200 is a lot of money. He's saying $200 is too expensive for what's being given. There is a huge difference. That's like saying just because Jay-Z spent $30-million on a house that his Charmin should cost $100 per roll and he should be perfectly fine with that because of what the house cost!

Not sure if many have this on their Merc, but I got one for mine and I absolutely love it.
As the steering wheel is on the right side, the push start button is obscured. Having a red one, does make it stand out a lot more on the interior.
I never will be able to afford a Super Car like a lot of us, so this is something small and affordable that will give me a sense of feeling in a very very small way of what it would be like to have one lol.

So I'm wondering why the cheaper carbon fiber ones from eBay are bad...they're real CF and good quality. $150 is stupid large money.
