Diesel you are in the Pittsburgh area too?
Are you a cars n coffee member, and are you heading to PVGP?

Pittrace is awesome! Problem for me is, all of their events tend to take place during the week and I work a lot! So their events are hard for me to attend.
I know the Operations Manager and am acquaintances with the owner.
Really good group of guys over there!

the mid-week makes it difficult
the Sunday event sounds doable
what are the fees? I looked but couldn't find them?

I'm in Morgantown, but frequently travel up to Pittsburgh (I was there yesterday). I didn't see a price for this event either. I liked that all I needed was a helmet. If I go I'll take a 1/2 day vacation (weekday time-off is easier to schedule with my employer than weekends are with my wife); I'm not sure if you can show up anytime between 4-8 and race (which may allow for some afterwork fun).

They also have PDE and I'd like to work my way to Group 3 so I could do those events. I'm hoping my AMG driving academy counts as group 1 so I start in group 2. I figured the trackcross was a low pressure way to visit the facility, get some track time and feel things out.

I doubt I'll make PVGP.
