very strange thread, but I like it!
I'm 37 with wife and kids and I'm happy to go to work every day, hahaha, just sayin.
What I find strange is retiring at 38 from an occupation that has so much more upside to go.
I could never leave the "game" when there's more money to be made and left on the table.
I could be retired if I wanted, but I just want more and more, hahaha.
I guess if I had a couple hundred million, I might retire from working altogether, maybe the OP has f-you money, but if you do, I'd have MUCH nicer cars, no offense.
You do have a strange mix of cars and being from the investment world, I'd imagine a stable of cars that had better asset value and potential upside (eg: 360 CS, Ford GT, Carrera GT, 430 Scud, SLSBS, Enzo, F40, F50, etc, etc)
I know if I was retired and loaded to the gills, I'd be shopping in a much different group.
Sure I'd have some beaters too, but.......
And if you're not that loaded, get back to work before it's too late.
that's my .02
Thanks for the interesting thread and I'll be your friend if you want--coming down to Marco Island this winter (and I have my own $, not looking to steal yours)

Do you work or not?
" A few weeks ago, while I was hustling down a winding road on my way to work, I decided my 5,000 pound Rolls Royce Ghost daily driver was not sporty enough. Though fun at times, the British bruiser often feels confused when driven hard and for some strange, unbeknownst reason makes me feel guilty when I corner too aggressively in it. It was then I decided that I needed another car to share everyday driving duties with the Ghost.
This vehicle needs to be perfect. I can fit a maximum of six vehicles in my garage, so this one has to be the car that fills all the holes in my current lineup.
This is what I'm looking for:
-no more than 350k
-can be used to carry a reasonable amount of luggage
-sporty
-everyday driving capabilities
-exciting and eye catching design
The three cars that immediately came to mind for me were the E63 AMG / CLS63 AMG, Audi RS7, and the Aston Martin Rapide. Can anyone think of any better picks? "

What is the purpose of this thread?
Are you saying your life is difficult due to the number of cars you have or that because you have $$$ and people want it?
It's the same for everyone: the WORLD is trying to seperate them from their $$$
Sounds like you extracted your share
If you made money someone lost some, it's not created out of thin air
Just moved/transferred around
Are people giving you crap over the number of cars you own?
Your family?
Who cares, why do you?
Guilt? Justification?
This is just plain weird
Like whining because my 'johnson' is too big lol

when did I say I my cars and family were of equal priority to me? I said my family is my only responsibility at this point, so while they are out I have the time I need to work on cars. Your critiques are becoming annoying. Please leave my family out of this.

Kudos, enjoy them all, and f*** anyone who has issues with your choices. I'm sure many a prius owner looks at me and thinks what an ***, but hey, we've all decided it was worth it for us. So enjoy. Yes, maybe if I was more concerned about autos as investments I'd make different choices (I honestly no nothing about this), but I'd rather choose vehicles for my personal choice and taste, and you've done that. So again, kudos, just don't come crying to us all when the zombie hordes attack you first... ;-)

I am not criticizing your family and you posted about them
2. I get EXTREMELY bored (I'm a retired, married 38 year old who wakes up at 11 AM each morning and goes to bed at 2:15 at night and has ZERO responsibilities all day [except for my wife and kids] and the cars help keep me busy.
They almost sound like an afterthought, that's all
My wife/kids/cars all in the same train of thought
Do you know Ronald Faris?
Big in banking and iirc he lives on jupiter island
Any pictures of your cars?

Yet another brag thread by this dude, that will probably get closed like the last one.
Pictures or it didn't happen.
This reminds me exactly of a thread a while back with some dude lying to JrCart about owning a Lamborghini Aventador from Brazil, anyone else remember that?

These threads can never be real.
Sorry to ruin your day OP, but I felt the need to do a quick search on the web for the pics in your sig. What peaked my interest is the way the photos were cropped out, looked fishy to me, so I did some digging and found your Viper pic (see pic below)
see vid in link:
http://www.unfinishedman.com/2013-srt-viper-gts/
You altered the the colors, but the refections are exactly the same in the windshield and ground below. Sorry bro, I gave up on the Rolls, I'm sure it's out on the web too (see the reflection of a building in the windshield and lady in red in the side reflection on the car door).
Sorry, but I don't think we'll be hanging out in your mansion in Jupiter FL this winter either, damn and I thought I had a new friend.
He's all yours fellas......

I think this failed the sniff test for most
It seems unlikely that someone who could make 10's of millions before 38 in a ruthless field like investment banking would come across as so immature and insecure
The banker would not care about perception nor give a dang
This is probably a kid so being immature and insecure is part of the growth process
It is a reflection on society that our youth feel this stuff is 'accomplishment' and to be admired
A banker that conives his way to riches is more honorable than a coal miner or a soldier?
Your people I do not understand lol

this stuff creeps me out--lot of mental cases out there.
OP, please come clean and tell us you're a kid so we can all breathe a little eaiser.
If you're an adult, go get some help, seriously.
We're all fortunate to live here in this country, why feel the need to lie and deceive. Hold your head up high and go to work and make a better life for yourself. If you want these cars, get educated work your *** off and maybe your can buy a couple some day--then you'll realize it ain't all it's cracked up to be, but it doesn't suck either
