I have decided to go with the gloss black look on my white C63. My last car was white with cf so I'm trying something new.

I found the 507 spoiler for $465. Is it just a standard spoiler painted gloss black? Is there a paint code so I can just get my spoiler painted?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It doesn't look painted; I'm pretty sure it's just glossy black plastic, although an EPC search indicates I might be wrong as it shows me needing the black painted one, unless there is a specific code for the 507 spoiler I don't see. Non-metallic black is code 040 which you can buy a spoiler pre-painted in part # 20479003889040.

There is a difference between the sedan and coupe so make sure you get the right one if you buy online.

Spoke to oediscountparts earlier. They claim the 507 is the same as the C63 coupe spolier, just painted code 040U.

I have to believe removing my spoiler and having it painted would be cheaper?

The fatory prepained ones are like 600 from parts.com. If you buy a replacemnt you can always switch back with little effort.
