Installation instructions for MC Luftsrom front lip?
I have been looking at it for a while and no ideas are coming to mind. Also a search on here didn't result in anything (maybe my jedi search is lame but...)
Does anyone know how the Mode Carbon Luftstrom front lip is installed? There are no tabs or holes or anything... does it use double side tape?
Thanks in advance,
-Adam

Remove your OEM front lip and then a silicone adhesive.
Might be able to get away with double sided tape as well.

Nicholas at Mode Carbon advised clear silicone adhesive item # 11105. I purchased it from
HTTPS://www.silicone depot.com
Lay ~1/4" bead about 1/2" away from the edge of the part. This reduces squeeze out and this is where most of the contact point between the splitter and bumper is anyway. (Also, the center OEM splitter needs to be removed).
I would suggest dry layup before applying sealant, that way you have an idea how to manipulate it to final fit. I used 3"inch 3M blue tape to hold the splitter in place while it cured. There sufficient tack time so no need to rush once the sealant and manipulating the part. Hope this helps.
