Auto levelling headlights, one not working

Anyone ever dealt with their auto levelling headlights not working?

My driver side headlight is not auto levelling on start up, the light is working, it's just stuck pointing up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If your cars still under warranty, you could probably go to the dealership and they'll fix it for you... In my experience, they were able to adjust the headlights for me. Good luck

If your car is not under warranty and the problem is a broken linkage piece you may be able to manually adjust the housing via the threaded adjusters so that at least it is level, independent of the auto-leveling mechanism. I was able to do this on a BMW.

I can't help but notice the irony of your user name and the problem.

....and your surprised your car now has a lazy eye? Don't tell me God doesn't have a sense of humor.

lol, too funny

Thanks guys for the ideas, at work now so I'll check it later.

No more warranty, but the light is only 3 months old, small frontal accident.

It's a Canadian car, HID's are standard & they are also the DRL's(daytime running lights)

If you had the light replaced 3 months ago, you might be able to go to the shop that did the work and complain that they did not fix it right and have them repair it.

Yes that's what I'm doing today.
I stopped by the dealer & the SA talked to a mechanic & verified that it's either the light, programming of the new light or the sensor on the driver side sway arm near the lower table which I looked at & it seemed ok. I then called the certified MB body shop where my car was repaired & he told me, no problem, stop by & will check it so that's what I'll do.

Thanks guys
