Money factor for leasing an AMG
For those of you that are leasing what money factor do you get?
I got quoted by several MB dealerships 0.0026 which is not great.
They are telling me that MB financial sets it this way for AMG vehicles and there is nothing they can do about it.
Is that true?

I'm not too familiar with that edmunds website. what do you mean they will give me the number?
Are they deciding for MB financial? Or is it just an average of what should i pay?

here's an example page.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I wouldn't mind posting the question for you, just tell me the AMG you're looking for. I assume it's the 2015 C63 Coupe since you posted your question in W204 C63 section.
Better hurry on the C63 sedan if you wanna lease one.

MSD is Multiple Security Deposit. You basically give them cash worth of few months payment and they lower the MF and when you return the car, you can either roll it into the next car, or get your cash back. (Assuming car is returned in one piece )

Really bad rates. For those who weren't aware to get rough APR multiply money factor x 24.
Penn fed has 1.29 %buy rates up to 48. If you purchase at 1/3 interest over 48 and sell I bet you come out way ahead.
Doubtful That reduced money factor resulted in $70 less/ month. Your residual was probably higher as well

Actually you multiply by 2,400. So .0026 = 6.24%.

^ yep it has to be times 2400 to get the interest rate.
I don't understand why these dealers propose that higher rate where MB financial has a range which is lower than that (0.00195 to 0.00225) !!!

My understanding is that unless it's a Manufacturer's advertised deal, the dealer can add points to the rates. I suppose it's with anything, you have to haggle over everything. I try to buy if I can, it seems much simpler to me. Of course you have to worry about trade in value later and all that. Lease is kind of worry free once you've got the car so I understand the appeal.
