C63 AMG 507 Edition
I keep looking at these photos, there is nothing better than seeing a job done with fine attention to detail, and you have really nailed the details on this.
I actually dont like all black cars, but this just looks awesome.

My friend in Canada did the same conversion & he said it was around 30K$ but he used all OEM parts purchased at the stealership.
Good looking car & love the wheels! For those asking why not buy a real BS, I believe you cannot find a "new" BS anymore as they have been sold out.

OK, since you are all dying to know how much this costs: 20 - 25K$ for parts and labor excl. the cost of the wheels and transportation, if needed. So, your friends cost makes sense.
One could spend easily more, if adding a lot of carbon parts or going really high end on the rims.

$20-30k plus cost of wheels? Ouch. That's dedication.
I remember when the CBS was first introduced, people commented on how much of a rip off it was compared to a normal C63, calculating how much it'd cost to build one from a C63 and using $10k budget for a widebody conversion.

My friend was "only" on Rennen wheels which is cheaper than ADV. And I believe 30k$ was including the wheels don't remember though.

Done right!
Congrats on the quality build. Not many venture as far into a build as you have. I am no way knocking the OEM build. But if you were looking to add some width to the rear you could have done a quality metal widebody rear for around 8K all said and done The front flares are good as is.
Either way, bravo!

2013 C63 Coupe BS Conversion
Hey Meng, I wish $30K had included my wheels I did Rennens but dual staggered with 20s in the rear and 19s up front. I also had coilovers...without them, looked like I was taking it off-road!

Don't want to hijack this thread either but if anyone wanted to see how mine turned out, you can see pics here:

Unfortunately, I no longer own the car, I miss it dearly but I see a modded W205 in my future

Folks,
within the ADV1 range there are different tires also, not all are totally crazy. Mine are MV2 2piece forged ones and I negotiated them as part of the total build.
Some of the other BS builds had more extreme tires than mine, which raise the car more, hence the need for coil overs to correct. My 255/35/19 and 295/30/19 lift the car about 0.4 inches, so that simple HR springs correct that and bring the car down net 0.4 inches. That plus the lower front spoiler of the BS mean I barely clear my drive curb and car lift ramp. I would say the height is perfect for me that way. The car also is a lot stiffer - probably as a combination of the wider track, tires and the HR springs, so its handling is on a totally different level - addictive!
Interesting, btw, how most comments are about the looks of the car, and nothing at all about the laser jammers I installed and mentioned. I enjoy driving my cars in a spirited manner (not so much looking at them), and my drivers license is too close for comfort to being suspended, so the jammers were actually a key element of my tune.
Cheers.

You bet, a LSD is essential for fun driving! Without one you can't even 'swap ends' when needing to make a U-turn!

You should look for an aftermarket diff with more aggressive locking rates. IMO the diff in the BS is what makes the car handle so much more livelier than a normal C63. I'm not sure of you can fit a BS diff + cooler into the C63 without the full E rear end components. It'll be cheaper to go aftermarket anyways.
The rear end of the BS doesn't have coilovers so you're one up on the BS on that department.

I'm thinking exactly the same as for the LSD. To fully benefit from the wider rear end having the E class conversion would really be a plus.

You guys are certifiable!! I just spent a fortune, but could keep right on going: New rear axle, with diff. Then of course the BS oil cooling system and next a blower.....
One step at a a time folks! The car was gone for more than 3 months, how about I got to drive it a bit first?

For some reason my above post lost the smiley faces in it (when reacting to suggestions to replace the rear axle etc.). I actually like the ideas - please keep them coming! Tx.
