Thanks! The emblems are plasti-dipped. I consulted with several reputable painters about painting everything black and they said on the chrome they would not do it because it would not last and probably chip. Considering that they have to sand all the pieces down for the paint to even stick I did not want to have the paint flake and not even be able to reverse it. The trim is all wrapped with 3m 1080 gloss black vinyl.
The tint is 15%. Good luck with the new car and happy driving!

New additions to the beast. Very please with the fit and finish with all the products installed.
I decided to go with Mode carbon spoiler since I had it on my previous C63 and the quality was top notch, Nicholas is excellent to deal with. I went with JL motoring diffuser since I had this one as well on my pre-fl 09 and Tal happened to have a near new diffuser for sale. Diffuser arrived within 2 days after placing the order and Tal is a great guy to deal with. Its been a month since I bought this product and Tal answers any questions very promptly.
The CF mirror covers are RW carbon and thanks to Matt, I had the covers with me the next day!
Some Iphone 6 plus pics (not a bad camera at all- light was very low)
Detailed the interior with Swissvax leather milk. Great product!

Your car is looking sick with the CF accents. CF flows perfectly on red cars.
May I suggest CF front grill?

Nice choices on the CF. The JL diffuser looks to be a nice design as does the Mode Carbon spoiler. The RW mirror covers look great as well. How is the quality on the mirror covers? I am in the market for some. The CF does pop on the red car. Car looks super clean and the interior looks amazing.
LOL...Zero Emissions...can only be claimed when the car is not running. Even then????

Thanks a lot! quality of CF covers is great and Matt @ RW carbon will get them out to you within no time. the shop claims that the installation wasnt exactly easy.

Do you perhaps have any pics? I'm planning on going for the VFR rear diffuser but can't make my mind up if I like or want the VFR rear spoiler due to how it will look, and I don't want to pay for something I may not end up likeing lol

2013 C63 AMG and 2002 Ford Explorer Sport
Hi Sidv22,
Very nicely done. I have always been a little apprehensive about going overboard on cosmetics because then it becomes tacky, and not really so much good looking. However yours isn't tacky, and isn't blingy at all. Koudos to you for not going over that line.
I just got my 2013 C63 just over a week ago, and so far the Eurocharged V5 tune is all I have done. I have ordered the headlamp units from 'The Fish guy', as well as some protective items for the interior. I am looking into wheels, which I am very picky about, and then tires as well.
I contacted RW about the mirror covers, and he responded this morning. How was the install for you? I have been in the automotive business on and off for many years, but not so much anymore. I do 95% of my own work, but with this car, that may not be the case since MB have a lot to say about that when a warranty is involved. I don't want to overdo it, but I am going to black out several items on the car, and the grille, badges, and chrome accents are first on the list.
Before I traded in my 2014 SRT Jeep, I had plasti-dipped the badges, grille, intake inserts, and wheels. Everything took really well and the SRT looked mean as hell. In fact when I traded it the badges and trim and grille were still plasti-dipped. I never saw any of the Plasti-dip come off or tear on any of those parts, however the wheels were a different story.
I have black-chrome wheels on the SRT, which are the most expensive wheels you can get on that vehicle, but I didn't like the chrome part in the name. So Plasti-dip became my friend. Well if you want to call it that. I purchased the Plasti-dip cleaners and all the proper stuff to do the job, but it is very time-consuming. I ended up doing the wheels twice, and I think one wheel I did three times. They have to be really, really clean for the dip to stick. And if you don't wait the proper amount of curing time and head off to the car wash, it will come right off. It's kind of embarrassing to drive around with three really nice black wheels, and one that is as shiney as the sun.
I tried to do the wheels on the vehicle, but it's just too much of a hassle. But with big wheels and tires, it was a chore. I was going to Plasti-dip the C63 wheels like you did, but I'm going to save those once I put the new wheels on so I have the original set. They are perfect so no reason to mess them up.
So anyway, back to the CF mirror covers-how much trouble were they? I have no problem doing the work, but just don't want to mess the assembiles up as I know MB likes their money, and breaking one would make them very happy.
I'm going to have the chrome trim around the windows and doors done as well, so am interested to see how yours looks as well. On another note, someone on one of the other threads made a comment about the fact the C63 came in only black, white, and silver. However that seems to be null and void as you have a red one. I haven't seen many that are outside of the black, white and silver. Red looks good.
I wouldn't mind painting the calipers a different color than the grey that they are, but not sure about it just yet. Wouldn't mind a blue or something a little different. OK, so any info you can supply would be great. Your car looks good so just don't overdo it.
P.S. How do I upload images onto the forum?
Cheers,
Howie

Thanks Howie!
The CF mirror covers from RW are of good quality and the service was quite good too. I tried to install them myself but could not since I could not get the OEM's out and did not want to mess things up. So I got them installed from a shop along with my CF diffuser and trunk spoiler.
As far as painted calipers are concerned, you can either get them painted from a good body shop or if you want guaranteed quality, then get in touch with Tal@ACG. They have a caliper exchange program. all you have to do is send him your calipers and in the meanwhile he will send you a set with no downtime in any color you like.
My C63 looks a bit different than how she looks in the pictures above. I have removed the plastidip from the wheels since it started to look dull. And also wrapped the window trim in gloss black which looks great. I will post updated pictures when I can.

You did great on trade-in (assuming you didn't let them bury you on the new car). Two years ago I couldn't give away a highly optioned, mint condition, so Cal, still CPO, 2009 C63 sedan with 30K on the ticker. Ended up dumping it for $35K.
