The only thing I can think of that I would actually try is to disconnect the battery, turn the light switch on and leave it for a while, 10-15 min, then try to start it...GL.

No need to turn the light switch on.
I would, however, disconnect the battery for 15 min and see if that makes this go away.
Hopefully a one time thing

C63 AMG 507 Edition
I found a few threads, but none of them had answers.
The closest I could find to your problem is this:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...-pls-help.html
Unfortunately, no answers given. Might be a trip to the dealer...

I think my battery is dead

While/if you're getting a new battery I highly recommend that you buy a Battery Tender also. It'll extend the life of a battery easily 50% or more and your battery will stay in top condition during that period. If my cars sit longer than three days w/o being driven they go on the Tender.

I put her on a battery tender for 5 hrs connected the battery back and bang she kicked over straight away
So happy
Might invest in a new battery
Anyone used a optima??

I know a number of folks on the forum have gone with non MB brand batteries with no issues. Guess you can save some cash with equivalent function.

It ensures that the residual current in the system is totally dissipated. Most likely no effect over time but why not?
747 - JMHO but I go the opposite route. I don't mind if a battery weighs a few pounds more than OE fitment if that means each cell is jam-packed with more lead. First and foremost I want reliable starting voltage, each and every time. I use this particular battery in another car...if they made a perfect fitment for this car it would be my first and only choice also. Now, I don't know too many people who would pay $275 for a battery but to me, it would have been a no-brainer if one fit.

I've had one in my Lexus for the last 4 years. It's been great. I can tell it's not as strong as it used to be though. If I let it sit now for a long time (3 weeks+), my car won't start sometimes. I'm hoping the cold of this winter won't kill it.

Just a brief fyi: batteries do not suffer from cold at all, on the contrary. Average battery life for the same battery in Canada is a lot longer than for the same battery in Florida. What cold does, is it reduces cold crank amps. In really cold weather a car may not start, but the battery will be fine as soon as it warms up.
When looking for a battery tender, look for one that reduces sulfate a, i.e. has a desulfation function.
