C63 LSD Quaife Installation
Hey guys,
I am looking for an LSD upgrade to my C63 estate.
As I am from Germany, I would go for the Quaife, as I don't know where to get a wavetrac over here...
Already talked to my MB Dealer for installation. They would like to see an installation guide for this thing.
Anyone could help me in this case? Can't find any info on the Quaife homepage if it is a direct replacement for the original differential, or if you have to fit it in there somehow...
Thanks a lot

A former vendor here posted this:
There are absolutely no adjustments that can be made on the Quaife for backlash and pinion angle. There are no shims and no way to move the contact point of the ring and pinion. It is a direct bolt in.
It is the easiest, no brain install so I am sure the install was done correctly especially since you have done rears before.
Did you put new taper bearings in? What about the c-clips on the axles? I always use new bearings and always replace the c-clips since they are what holds your axle in the diff. Is your rear leaking at all?
