Go to advance auto/pep boys... They sell regular gloss black frames. That's what I have done in the past and reminds me I need to do the same now.

I have a carbon fiber one too. Surprised it hasn't gotten stolen yet. lol

I got it from a member on Ferrarichat (Fripsgirl). She can also put whatever kind of design on the bottom that you might want in different colors.

Here is a link to her thread. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/fer...te-frames.html

or here's a thread to her site that would be more pertinent to this forum. http://www.5ivefifty.com/mercedes.html

Never used a license plate. Save some weight I had a Cf frame from JBspeed, but it's cracked when I received it.

Same. Just got it. My version has the new AMG logo (2012+) with the modified "A" character.

Looks awesome.

Can you tell which one mine is...? I don't think I know the difference in the "A's".

Is it that the first slant of the "A" is on more of an angle and seems a bit thinner?
If so I think that is the one I have too.

I had one from the dealer but i'm just running a naked plate right now.
the CF frames are nice and so are the oem mercedes ones but it just seems crazy to spend that much on a plate frame IMO.

Yep, that's the new one!

The pre-facelift cars have a normal looking "A" character incorporated in the AMG logo whereas the LCI/facelift cars have the slanted "A" character (like the one on your plate frame).
