The car has 10 qts, great filtration w/o bypass, good cooling avg temp is 100 C or 212 F
Hot enough to lube well and cook off moisture but cool enough to be well below it's service limits and transfer heat from components effectively
BMW on a high rev'ing M3 ran up to 13-14k miles
My Audi RS4 a high rev'er was the same 10k miles
8k might be ok but 4k is a waste of $$$ with no tangible benefit
Side note
SR 15N out of Silver City to Gila Cliff Dwellings
40 miles of paved logging roads
Amazing drive, S's, switch-backs. Etc
Hustling the car is 40-60 mph max
Squirting between corners
Took an hour and I felt it lol
The car is outstanding
Brakes held up
Good power at 6000 ft asl (20% power loss, not that you could fully exploit or apply it) and a 90/91 oct mix (no good 93 in NM or AZ)
Very surprising how well a 4000 lb car with 2 passengers and 3 weeks of luggage and camping kit handles
At those speeds understeer was minimal and predictable

MBWorld Fanatic!
My C63 averages 3k miles a year, so it gets changed on an annual basis. The oil after 3k miles is black as dirt and the engine does not rev as eagerly. I can tell you that there is a noticeable difference in the way the engine revs after an oil change.
