Volk Racing G25 thoughts - pic near car
Hi all, looking for some feedback and opinion on this wheel. Don't mind the stock 18" AMG wheels currently on car, also don't mind waiting a few more years to find the one I fall in love with, but came across these and am intrigued. What are everyone's thoughts on 2 topics:
1-the wheel in general
2-going with a Volk Racing / Rays wheel on a C63 vs. the typical European HRE, Klassen, DPE, etc.
Thanks for the thoughts.

Oufff, do it!!! Can't go wrong with Volks.
P.S are they ready available or u have to order it? U will need patience if u order them as they can take up to 6-8months to get.

These are great track wheels lighter than OEM and affordable vs HRE.
You don't have flexibility in offsets for the C63 but they come pretty aggressive.

Several things have me interested:
Price is good
C63 AMG "specific" per Volk catalog and USA rep, 19x8.5" +45, 19x9.5" +50
I know I could have a set in hands by April / May
Also through some searching here, I saw some debate of hub centric vs. not being hub centric on this wheel, the catalog claims they are indeed hub centric.....so that's a good thing too.

Just to nit pick, but your avatar says you drive a c300. Do you have a c300 with AMG wheels on it? Or did you bump up to a c63? C300 and C63 have different offsets.

Just picked up my C63 this past Saturday. Been back and forth about it for a year, and figured it was time to move since the 4-door 6.3L were getting harder and harder to find new.

Cool. Just making sure because some people think all w204 specs are the same.
Grab those wheels, they're awesome.

Guessing the statement does not read as intended. What was meant by "typical" European wheel, wasn't that they are common or made in Europe, it was meant to call out that is what is typically seen on high end European cars vs. a Japanese wheel like a Volk.
Having said that.....what do you guys think of the MB 507 series wheel instead?

As far as my cracked rims for who asked, yeah all flow forged, hitting small bumps over time cracked them, one or two cracked on small potholes instantly. It's wasnt a driver mistake either as my car is lowered and im always super careful, it's all from just how the roads are.
The you get what you pay for statement is critical for rims guys, I learned that after a couple thousands spent on 3 sets of 2k rims.
