She Is Here... Finally Pulled The Trigger on 2012 C63
Finally (officially) part of the community! Thx everyone for all your feedback and advice leading up to this purchase.
Was a long drive through rainy PA yesterday but we made it... Need to get detailed ASAP! Took her to an empty mall parking lot earlier today to test out the different drive modes. Love the little fart sound when she downshifts in s+
I got the wheels blacked out but thinking I should do the emblems too. Thinking a slight tint may be in order as well...
Happy Holidays everyone!

nice. so it came with the black multispokes? didnt think those were avail in the US other than special order.
i'd definitely tint the windows, i put 15% on my rear and 35 on front and it made a world of difference (depends on your laws)
is that a matte color? or just really dirty black?

Thanks!
Yes - it is a black matte. It's an Edition 1. It is really dirty from the drive back. Like I said... needs detail ASAP
On the wheels... It had some curb rash since I bought used so the dealer offered to sand down the wheels and paint them flat black. It's not 100% smooth from close up but I prefer it to the silver and I would say it actually came out pretty decent.

If you take it to a detailer make sure they have worked with matte before, if doing it yourself i'd research the *_*_# out of matte paint cleaning.

yes - I am paranoid about it right now, worrying about taking it to the wrong place etc... Like a first time parent I guess... well sorta. I feel like all of my friends are just now coming out of the background saying why did you get matte its a disaster to take care off etc. Where were you before? But I think it looks sick so I don't regret the decision.
I am thinking about brining it to the local mb dealership tomorrow but no idea if they do that sorta thing on short notice.
I still need to drive it home for another 150 miles

I'd wash it myself. I wash mine myself and don't have matte paint, but I know I've had so much bad luck with other folks washing or "detailing" that I finally just bit the bullet and bought appropriate supplies. It takes time, but at least I can provide the quality wash and detail that I want. I figure most other folks washing cars and just trying to get it done with as quickly and easily as possible, which is exactly what I don't want.

Agreed. That's exactly what I did. After a quick google search I ordered some dr Beasleys matte paint care package. It's not here yet but I guess I will find out soon if it was worth the extra 200 bucks.

good call. the paint looks awesome, by the way. Zibby43 might have some insight too, as I think he's a bit of detail and paint care expert. Enjoy the hell out of it!

I have an edition 1 as well. I had the side marker lights painted body color, Magno Night Black. Enjoy and congratulations.
