haha, you have to be more specific. Ya it's hard for any bolt on car to come close to something like that lol. It seriously has 2x the hp to the ground. Only thing i can knock on that is the sound, those porsche boxer 6 cylinders are definitely an acquired taste that i have yet to acquire. however those loud *** turbos almost completely blanket the sound i dont like. Which makes me like it that much more.

I thought we were discussing supercharger kits not headers . Those 2 things are night and day . Lets compare Renntech's supercharger kit to Weistec's kit and then get the discussion going .

I will agree with everyone in saying that having a variety to choose from is good but until ESS can show better results after "how many years of this rumor" , there is nothing more to discuss here .

I will add one more thing . You mentioned "the best bang for your buck" but that really only goes for inexpensive parts . When people are looking to purchase a critical performance part like a complete supercharger kit for 10-15K , most are not looking for "the best bang for your buck" . If people want the "best bang for your buck" , the emphasis will be on the word "bang"

Just spoke with Roman today. The kit is almost ready and is intended to be released by the end of June to the public. It's 2.9 liter whipple type blower. Dare I say it will probably be better priced than Weistec and Kleemann...

True, but you have a lot of M156's out of warranty and more enthusiasts will be getting into the platform now.

IMHO, Weistec products are extremely good. But here in North America they have a monopoly on the forced induction market for Benzes. Yes I know you can get a Kleeman kit. But after-sales support are important to those who make this type of investment into the motor.

It will be good if we start to see some competition, will keep the manufacturers pushing the envelope.

Was speaking with Roman again on IG, seen some progress pics again of the manifold unfinished. I was under the impression this kit was already completed since the CBS is apparently running around with an ESS charger strapped to it.

He says its coming soon, lets see i guess.

lol thats me, i poke at him every once in a while. Because this kit has seriously been in development for 3+ years at least.
