Looking at 2015 C63 AMG Coupe
#26
C63 coupe is a phenominal car, tons of fun, and responds well to some mods. Was one of the best cars I've owned. Don't know what options your looking at but lighting package a must and leather a good option. As cool as the 707hp hellcat is I'd go for the C63 and it's much more car than your Camaro in terms of refinement and build quality, this coming from someone who's owned 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th gen f bodies (and I still have one 3rd and one 4th gen).

Calling it a 6.2 in information books or even a putting a 6.2 label on it has nothing to do with legality. It's purely marketing. Case in point.
2005 SLK55 5.4L sohc. Also, 5439cc.
2015 SLK55 5.5L dohc. Also, 5461cc.
Almost every publication and information from mercedes calls the former a 5.4, and the later a 5.5, as that is what they are.
All that aside HBC350 nailed it. What difference does 12 or 12000 miles make, other then a huge hit in depreciation? Would you consider a 20k mile car but not a 30k that costs $20k less? Get the exact car you want, not what you can scrape together "because new car."

Buy an optioned-out 2013 for the same price or less and you will not regret it. The car you are thinking of will take a massive depreciation hit the moment you drive off, and will not fetch much 3 years later when you go to trade it in or sell it because it doesn't have any of the stuff MOST folks in the market would be looking for.
This is not the actual car - but is an exact match

Well, I'm actually now considering the 2014 Sedan I test drove, as the more I think about it, I wouldn't mind the sedan over the coupe as it does give you easier access to the back seat. I do like the looks of the AMG in both the sedan & coupe. The 14 did have the media and lighting packages. Need to work them a bit on what they offered me on my trade in plus I will not have the cash until the end of this month.

Sure - you giving me 10k more to spend? The 14 is a new car/leftover stock. I'm not finding a 507 for under 70 new.
Also - the engine specs between the two, 507 gives you 50 more HP but only 7 TQ (443 vs 450) not sure what MB did here, but I would have thought there would have been a better margin in the TQ numbers too.

It may have all the low end the regular version has, with only a tiny bump in power, but the torque curve may be flatter. Thus, hp at 2000 as well as 7000rpm's may be higher(peak power is up 300rpm's so that is in fact the case).
How it's different, or if it is in fact even different, then the Black Series motor, is beyond me.

I think my local dealership has a new '14 sedan with $73k MSRP. But that car has been sitting in the showroom for quite a while now. I would say 6 months +. Maybe you could get a bargain there

The hellcat is going to be a great car for the price. The interior is upgraded and the 707 hp is supposed to be under rated based on some dyno's that were done.
The only thing you can do is drive them both and decide what you want as they are different cars. There is also the hellcat challenger if you want the sedan version.
