Yes you can, but as others will attest, no oil is better all around than Mobil 1. Others may also chime in.

Mobile 1 is ok.
Liqui moly is the way to go.
It performs better according to tests from over seas.

so one can't go wrong using either 0 40 or 5-40?
i'm down in south fla with very high temps constantly..just want to make sure there isn't a "better option" out of those two for my specific scanario.

I would use 5w40.
Used it for the last 6month and had no knocking sound after start up. 0w40 drains out of the engine components faster when cold.
