Help removing interior trim piece please.

Anybody know how to remove the transmission indicator from this bezel. I am trying out a Carbon Fiber wrap, but not quite sure how this comes out.

I ended up leaving it in and carefully cutting around it. Still have some more panels to do, but it looks pretty good so far.

looks great! Where did you get the wrap and how much was it? I've been debating this myself. I think it would almost be possible to wrap the panels on the door without even removing them if you are good enough with a razor.

Yeah I couldn't remove mine on my pre-FL either. Looks good with the wrap!

Got it from Amazon. 5' x 1' 3m 1080 for $32.

Just finished the dash piece, which was header than I expected. The trim piece around the vent was a pain in the butt! this one isn't perfect but only I will know. Maybe I will redo it later on.

It's possbile but I don't trust myself with the razer, I know right before I am done cutting I would mess up and have to start over.

Awesome! I might have to order some up... the next step is just finding the time to do it!

Yea, don't be rushed when you do it. I am thinking about wrapping some exterior trim after the interior. Just takes time.

Looking good.
I think member Autosport7 did it without removing the door panels.
I remember removing every trim on my pre-FL.

Agreed! My issue is I travel every week for work, so I'm always on the road and the car sits at the airport. Only time off is my weekends which is usually spent unpacking, doing laundry, and repacking to leave again on Mondays!

That's good. I am now stuck on how to remove the Hvac controls bezel. The guide I was using on here is for a pre facelift, and mine doesn't want to pop off. It almost seems I have to remove the radio bezel first, but I'm not sure. I think im done for now.

This and that.
I paid $150 to a guy to do mine. The door pieces and the centre console trim (3 pieces)

You need to pop the radio out to do it.

Step one: Remove the upper trim piece with the air vents.

Step two: Pull out the radio (you don't have to remove it, just pull it out a couple inches.

Step three: Pull the HVAC cover off.

Unfortunately the HVAC cover sits underneath the lip of the radio, so you have to take the radio to get it on and off.

Good luck! I did it on mine, but got my pieces wrapped in CF to match the rest of the interior (did the console, armrest area and HVAC controls)
