Tyre Wear
It a quick question.
As anyone experienced tyres wear on the front & rear at the same rate?
12,0000kms in this set of tyres (7,400 Miles) and the front and rears are both about half worn. Evenly front and rear. Both half worn.
I think I could get another 10,000km from them.
They are Pirelli PZERO. 19". 235 / 255.
They appear to be wearing quite evenly over the width of all 4 tyres. SLIGHTLY, and I mean slightly more in the inside. Maybe literally 1mm more wear on the inside.
Look in happy. Don't get me wrong. Just wanting to know others first hand experience.
I recall hearing others talking that they go through 2 sets of rears for every front set.
I do mainly motorway driving in this vehicle. And in general I am quite easy on this car.
Thoughts?

Stock P-Zeros are quite soft and they did wear out around the same rate all four corners. When my first set of P Zero on the rear went bald, the front ones were not too far from it. It was around 7K miles?
But ever since I moved on to Michelin PSS, the front and rear ratio is 1:2

Hi,
For me, I was able to put on 9,762 miles on the Michelin PSS tires and only used 2/32s. From what my SA mentioned to me, the trick here is to run the TC in either Sport Mode or completely Off which is what I do. This will keep the car from "braking" individual corners. Also, for me, not doing too many power drifts and no burnouts helped. :-) But, utilizing the tires to their "full potential" happened on 9 out of 10 of my drives.
Happy Driving!
Chris

Hmmm, interesting responses.
Thanks everyone.
I will revive this thread when I eventually change the tyres and repost how many kms I ultimately get out of them.
Interesting comment regarding putting car in Sport / ESP Off.
I would drive around like that, but I use the cruise control a lot, and unfortunately it's unavailable in those modes.
