Cracked Another Stock 18" Rim
I have stock wheels that need replacing for a winter setup. I currently Michelin X3 snow tires in a square setup 235/40/18.
I need 18" wheels please advise. Thanks

I can certainly weld it just not to sure how long they will last or about the other wheels.
Since I am running 235/40/18 winter tires at all four corners, I was thinking of doing Niche M129 wheels 18x8 with 42 mm offset in the front and rear since my tires are so skinny? Niche 18x9.5 will be much to wide.
Maybe I could add a spacer in the rear? 10 mm and do I need longer lug nuts to do so? I have never used spacers before.

Find a reputable shop to do the welds. A well-done weld will be more than sufficient. I had crack and bend on my front two wheels and was losing 5+ psi every few weeks. After the welds (and re-bends) it's been running great.

You don't weld aluminum alloys unless your're a pro, and even then wheels are tricky at best.
On winter wheels when you're unlikely to exceed 65 mph or so I might take a chance, but I woudn't do it with wheels that you intend to run at triple-digit speeds. Once you see a repaired wheel let go on a race track resulting in an extremely unpleasant and expensive experience for the driver, you too will think twice about it especially on a public road where you may not have the armco to bounce off of. Just not worth it IMHO from a safety perspective on a 500 hp weapon. If you had a Citroen 2CV on the other hand, welding it would probably make that the strongest part of the car - just not on a C63.
