What year(s) did the C63s suffer from the potential head bolt issues?
Was it just the 2008s and 2009s? Was the issue resolved for the new years, 2010+?
I am looking into getting a C63 Sedan some time this year or maybe next. I like the face lifted 2012+, but I've found some very nice 2010s and 2011s that I like as well (options I want and color combos).
Thank you,

In addition to what has already been mentioned, the switchover occurred at engine 060658, which corresponds to a build date of around 6/2010. The build date can be found on the inside of the driver's side door if you are physically looking at a car. Note I mean the build date listed on the door, not the dealer inservice date.
Also if the last six digits of the VIN are under 530000 (for a C63 built 2011 and earlier), I would pretty much guarantee it has the older headbolts. Anything over 545000 should be the newer headbolts. 530000-545000 is a grey area worth a lookup of the data card to confirm because the engines were not put into cars in perfect order.
