Little update. It took 4 months for all the OEM parts to come in from Germany. The car has been at the body shop and cutting with start next week. No exact time for completion of the bodywork, but will send pics as they come in.

The car is actively in the body shop getting cut up. Should be in primer in the next 2 weeks. And then off for a full repaint. The shop is holding pics until then, so I'll post once I get them.

Shop is working on assembly plan. Only pic I got so far. Valve covers and brake caliper with bronze power coat to match lip on my ADV.1s. Will have a 'mechanical' look with some depth with the caliper color.
Photographer is taking some unique pics of the parts together with the vehicle.
My ADV.1s are getting Neros and will b shipped directly to me this coming week so ill send some of those.
I know someone who did the same thing with his valve cover and oil pan.
The paint started chipping off where is came in contact with the oil and clogged his oil pump...... in the end he needed a new engine.
I would be careful with painting/powder coating components which come in contact with fluids.

It appeared to me that the covers where coated all the way around since the bolt seats, ignition coil contact surfaces and oil cap sealing surface are coated.
My bad!

Progress well underway on the BS conversion. A little more refining and then will be primed and painted. It'll then be back at Fluid Motor Union for test and tune and dyno.

Hey it’s startimg to look like a car again!
But 3yrs...... damn. You should just apply for Classic Car plates now and avoid any emission hassles. By the time you’re back on the road they should be valid.![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Thx! It's been way too long, but that's how these builds go sometimes. The car will be fun as a daily driver and a great track car too.
