DING DING DING, Someone with a brain. Monitor your car, do frequent check ups, especially on a 750hp blower car.

Don't people who frequently sell need to pay vendor fee's?

He probably paid in cash. Paul liked accepting cash for big discounts so he could keep it off the record and pocket it.

Whoops.

I'm saying on MB world. He is always selling stuff here, so how come he doesn't pay vendor fee's to MB world? That's all I'm getting at. Or maybe he is saying he sells show much through the business off the forums?

^ I don't know who this seller is so I'm not pointing fingers. That said, I have several friends who have been burned by indie techs who have swapped out parts from their new(ish) cars for older clapped out parts, something which one wouldn't notice until they break. The parts apparently included stuff like alternators and ended up being offered for sale on Craigslist and various forums. I suspect this **** goes on a lot.

Well my c63 has a tune on it from a LOCAL vender here and runs fine. Also have a 5 year 75k mile warranty on it. Now thats about as far as i go with the mods and always reflash before it hits mb's shop.
Not gonna blow that warranty if at all possible.

Now with all that said i have a 03 cobra putting out over 600rwhp with no warranty and if something happens on its all on me.

Guess what i am saying is when you start making noticable blower, headers and other hp gain items no matter who does it or where your rolling the dice and its on your warranty lol.

Theses people adding superchargers, blowers and such have the best time out of them ( normally ) and its just clockwork soon as they sell them new buyer gets screwed in his opinion. Never buy a modded daily driver.

Thats my .02 and flame me on.

These cars were never meant to push 600 +hp and above There life expectancy grows very short very fast depening if you drive it and how hard you do. Its all part of the game and hp/TQ always finds the weakest point and breaks it !

Lovers of the mods:

This is the risk of trying to increase the power and performance of our cars. Others have already said in this forum.

Would you like to run? then like danger, risk, adrenaline.
It's the same rush you feel when you make a modification. Will it work? Is it faster? Or ... fail?
There is always the risk that things go well or badly.

Most runners are amateurs, amateurs modifiers ... we run risks, and sometimes we get great results ... sometimes we get suffering.

Enjoy it, enjoy the process, see the way more than the goal, not just the end result.

Greetings to all.

You mentioned local tuner. Are you located in Atlanta?
I'm located 1.5h off of I85 north. Can you give the info of the local tuner?
I'm looking into getting a tune but haven't decided from who.
Are you happy with the tune? Price ok?

There was only 1 tune ever done to the car and it was Weistec's original for 91oct.

I am not a fan of having multiple tunes for one car . I always tune my cars for reliability and not for peak performance and risk it

Weistec has all the figures and documentation to show it was very safe , reliable tune . Mine was not built to be a track car . It was designed to take it out on a nice weekend and enjoy the cruise

Please refrain from discussing anything related to Eurocharged that you have no knowledge about. You're spreading misinformation and as a non-paying vendor on this forum, you should know better. Please know that I'm asking nicely. There are a few people that would be more than happy to start posting about IAP Racing so we can discuss the long list of customers that have a bone to pick. The ball is in your court Ravi....I suggest you keep it civilized.

There are a lot of things that don't add up here

Why is there another tune file on the ECU other than the original ?
Why did the engine and tranny both have problems ?
Why was the vehicle sent half way across the country to get looked at ?
Why has the vehicle been sitting at Eurocharged since July without moving ?
