Weistec ruins cars and refuse to take responsibility
You have a purpose built car that's ready for the street / track etc.
Unfortunately for the OP it seems he bought it with 3rd party tune on all ready which looks like the issue.
A friend tried a 3rd party tune on his Weistec Stage 2 E63 (From a very reputable company) which gave him a little more BHP but within a month he started getting CEL's and it was just not running right. He put the original Weistec file back on and no more issues.
The point I was trying to make is the problem/fault doesn't lie with Weistec or any other tuner, but the fault of the previous owner and what he/she did to the car after it tuned and modified correctly to begin with. Like average joe states, the problem seems to be the "modified Weistec tune."
Don't get me wrong; I bought my C63 used as well. She started at 9,000 miles...3 years later, 80,000 miles and still running strong. I've driven from Sacramento to LA and back multiple times and she's never let me down. I'm actually taking her to LA again this weekend for a quick road trip to visit old friends.
Your car is in good hands and you understand the con's to leaning it out for more power.

Also where is the op? Haven't heard from him in awhile?

EC posted, they never tuned the car.
and you obviously have an axe to grind
The car arrived to us with a blown motor from California at the end of July. We upgraded the motor and finished the build in October. Weistec has had the transmission for a few months and we just got it back.
Steve and I were in contact the entire time. Weistec provided all of the information we needed to complete the process.
You seem busy to me Mr. Marketing Director @ IAP Racing.

Please refrain from discussing anything related to Eurocharged that you have no knowledge about. You're spreading misinformation and as a non-paying vendor on this forum, you should know better. Please know that I'm asking nicely. There are a few people that would be more than happy to start posting about IAP Racing so we can discuss the long list of customers that have a bone to pick. The ball is in your court Ravi....I suggest you keep it civilized.
Car always worked like a champ when I had it . Never had any issues except for a squeaky belt , which Steve sent me 2 extras . I couldn't figure out how the car went from San Francisco to Houston when there are 100s of other shops in between
