nope, no benefit. You will actually be able to easily upgrade your tune with the handheld should you change mods
Hi Loungn14, I'm totally new to this site (I literally just signed up).
I've been looking at a new toy/fun car for the last month or so and finally decided on the C63. Currently shopping for a 2012 C63.
I came across some other posts about this tune and am very intrigued.
This tune is on sale for $700 USD (from the regular $1300USD) and will increase the HP by 89horses to 540, Torque up 51 to to 494 and change the speed limiter to 200? That sounds like a frigin no brainer!
I'm very tempted to buy this now even though I don't have the car yet and then provide you guys with necessary info to tune my car once I get it.
Anyway, would love to chat some more but in the meantime i'm going to do some more reading on this board. I don't think i'll be sleeping tonight....My Thursday is going to be a write off!

once you get the handheld, you email us with the serial number and we send you an activation file
you then install the software on your desktop/laptop
read the car off, and send us that file via email
we modify it and send it back for you to load on the hanheld
you then go to the car and apply the tune.
Its a simple process, and you can then swap between tuned and stock at will easily

I'm new to these tuners, how does one go about to hook this up to the vehicle? Can one do it through the OBD port/connector? Or would i need to go to a technician to install?
Also, with this tuner, would i require anything else to see the results stated or is everything included?

Thinking it's easier for me to flash at my convenience, considering a friend of mine is a tech and does most of the mechanical work with me on my cars.
