Burnt Effect Exhaust Tips

Howsit ladies and gents.

Was just wondering, has anyone decided to have the burnt finish on their stock exhaust tips?

Something like this

I don't think it would be visible at all with the diffuser in place.

Its achieved with titanium exhaust systems, you can heat up titanium tips with a blow torch to obtain that look.

It's not so much that it's "too rice" but the burnt tips are more of a JDM-scene mod. And it's just stuck that way. I think blacken exhaust tips are more to the liking of European cars.

Only way I can imagine is would be with heat. Not every metal will result in that finish though.
