i got the Wire Harness /camera and installation guide from the forum. before i started, i am not sure if i got all the stuff cos some parts are not included in the kits... just want to make sure i got everything ready

pic1: the installation guide on wire harness: it mentioned yellow/grey line to reverse light

pic2: what i got in the kits

pic3 &4 : it mentioned i need to have a potential distributor to connect the yellow/grey line together with the same color line that has been there (reverse light) but seems all sockets are full..

question: where do i get the potential distributor and how to fix it?


pic5 & 4: do i need to open the fuse carrier in the kit and insert in the fuse carrier on the car? a bit confused why they supply with sth. already there

Looking at the picture, I would say the "Potential Distributor" is a scotch lock / vampire clip etc. All it does is join one wire to another without cutting the original wire in half etc.

I recently bought this kit as well and if someone could point me in a direction where I could find the installation documentation that would be wonderful. It appears to be the following Daimler AG document number: AN54.65-P-0030-03CW

Is there a PDF version of this document available anywhere? Thank you.
