C63 vs SRT8
Jk. Got into an 09 AMG after having a 2008 jeep srt. And almost bought the facelift srt8 but went with another 2013 c63 instead. The jeep is menacing. And power mods are available for half the price of a benz. You can make that car an even scarier monster than it already is. The newer jeeps blow the old ones out the water, and I'll tell you, I STILL miss my jeep. I used to beat everyone and everything, had a sc on it.

I read a limiting factor is that they are bottlenecked by powerplant development and man-power of getting them out fast enough. I heard also, if it does, it will make an appearance at the NY auto show in April. I can only imagine that the issue will continue with Dodge as well, with dealers up-charging them into the stratosphere.
I also read ( can you tell i'm trying to find info) in order to even sell any type of current hellcat, the dealer has to sell X amount of regular cars on the lot, and its sell, not have in stock at the dealer, and they can only have 1 at a time. maybe just rumors as well but doesnt bode well even when/if they release the jeep version for my pocket book. it will turn into a Mecum auction....for a jeep!
Allocation is based on last 90 days of cars sold. Fiat is penalizing dealers as best they can for selling over msrp. Any HC from original allocation that sits unsold on lot has a negative effect on their future allocation. Basically, you want to wait for buyer at msrp +$10k? That's your choice, but well skip you on the next round of allocation. My dealer is strictly msrp.
And yes, ITI is having issues meeting demand with the blower production.

My dealer is msrp. You just have to make sure your dealer has allocations and isn't collecting deposits for the heck of it, which is happening. I'd ask how many HC Challengers they delivered and where you are on the current waiting list. That'll give you a general of idea of timing for delivery. Most larger dealers should get at least one a month allocation.

makes me think if they announce the hellcat jeep, i should just put down the deposit (at a legitimate dealer) and just assume Id get her in a year haha
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Hands down as a current AMG driver I would buy the JGC SRT8 over the ML63.

That said what I can tell you is how I really like my ML..with the tune it is blisteringly fast for a 5000 lb slug...handles exceptionally with the active suspension...is VERY quiet and tight...well made with a gorgeous interior..offers excellent braking and for me fantastic service support that I have never needed to date other than for service...it's pricey but I can afford it so this is why I drive my ML63 AMG and not a Jeep which I bet is a good fit for many...just not me

Also checked out the Audi S5 and loved this thing. It's gorgeous as far as the looks are concerned and I read that with a simple tune they perform almost as well as the RS5, so it's in the running I've got to say. I am also looking at CLA 45AMG but keep thinking that would be too obvious of a downgrade lol.
If I get a car it has to be AWD, looks good and 'decen't enough power. Of course it can't be as much as C63 but still decent. Finally if the brand is a good one, that doesn't hurt.

Was that a Mercedes commercial!? only words missing was "appointed" and "accented" and benz should be paying you
off topic but when I was waiting for it, they told me they wouldnt even let me drive it as they didnt want to put miles on it. I told them I was never going to buy an 80k+ car without driving it. Went to the benz dealer and the rest is history. They kept calling me after for a whilie and finally said I could drive it around the block, but I told them I had already made up my mind and bought a c63
