O2 Sensor Bosch part #17016
Have seen conflicting information through a forum search, and the Bosch website search turned up nothing for O2 sensors. Does anyone know for sure if this is the right part number for the upstream (pre-cats) sensor?
If so, there's a great deal on Amazon @ $95
Thanks

Thanks for confirming man. More on it later in a separate post. Installed my MBH headers/mids/X over the weekend, and threw a CEL after a few rips up and down the street. Going out to check the codes now, but pretty positive the 20k mi O2 sensors died (I hope). For $95, they were worth ordering anyway.

as far as fitment is concerned, this part from Bosch is plug n play, correct? there's a person on amazon who reviewed this specific part number and said it didn't fit, but failed to provide pertinent information regarding his vehicle...

RearO2 Sensors are Bosch 16749.
Caution: I got this from another forum member and noted it for future use. I have not personally confirmed this (I think even if they were dead my tune would probably suppress any error message from the rear ones, so I am kind of hoping to never need one.)

Whenever the sensor is out, it cannot get used for automated Air:Fuel Ratio control and the engine switches to the programmed maps. If those are fine/conservative enough, nothing will happen, except the AFRs are not optimal (slight loss of power, maybe slight increase in fuel consumption). If the underlying maps are not right, e.g. when running headers without corresponding tune, then the engine could run dangerously lean.

O'Rielly's is really good about honoring the 1 year warranty. I just told them they failed and they gave me new ones. No questions asked.

My Bosch sensors have been great for over 2yrs since replacing when I did the headers. Have about 20 track days and a hundred 1/4mi passes on them too. No durability issues here at all.

I haven't replaced mine yet on my 2010. I'm not burning any more/less fuel than normal so how can you really tell until they completely fail?

any idea why you've been through so many? think it is the tune? I've just put in my 2nd set in 4 years. I think its my tune. maybe their location on the headers. think its the tune though. will be purchasing HP Tuners at some point as this is the first vehicle i've gone through sensors so quickly, but also the first car i've purchased a canned tune.
