I like the way it leaves the leather. I have tried a handful of higher end leather cleaners (Pinnacle Black Label being the latest) and every single time I go right back to Lexol. I prefer the matte finish it leaves on our leather seats. No slickness or grease.Originally Posted by Sidv22
Any particular reason. I have used Lexol previously but was not too impressed. Having said that, I have not used a lot of brands out there, so I cant call myself an expert.
The trick for me is to clean the seats well with Lexol cleaner. Then, apply the conditioner to the seats liberally, and leave it set over night. Do not wipe it off. Then go back the next day with a microfiber and remove what is left on the seats.
Works great for me.

I use a similar method. Warm sunny day and after Lexol cleaner (needs to be worked with a wet cloth/brush to get suds up before being wiped clean with a damp cloth) I apply Lexol conditioner, then a second application of conditioner and leave it to soak then later in the day I wipe of the excess with a damp cloth. If you do not wipe off you are left with a tacky surface that will eventually clean up by rubbing off on your clothes. Leaves a matte sort of finish rather than a shiny gloss.

It is a VERY labor intensive process, that is going to require you setting a whole day to the side, but in my opinion its worth it. My seats do feel clean and supple after 3 years of Daily Driving use, and the only damage I have is a little bit worn off due to my big *** getting in and out of the car (as careful as I am, just cant get away from completely hitting the bolster.)
Also, using Pristine Clean on my steering wheel, feels so good after its clean. Love that feeling.

Exactly what I use. If you do your research you'll find leatherique is on another level compared to any other cleaners because its much more then a cleaner. It actually has collagen and proteins to keep the dead cow hide healthy and soft. If you have Napa leather on your c63 I wouldn't use anything else except for leather masters if I didn't have the time. Napa leather is untreated like most leathers found in cars today so it will absorb a lot more good and bad. The key to leatherique is doing on very hot sunny day parked in direct sunlight (put down the panoramic roof shade to let sun in). This opens the pores of the leather the rejuvenator oil then penetrates through the leather. I would keep it on atleast 24 hours if possible it will then push all the dirt out of the pores while leaving the conditioners/protein/collagen inside. Use pristine clean to wipe off the gunk on top and buff dry. I have full porcelain seats that will be 3 years old this august and they look great I try to do the full rejuvenator treatment twice a year & pristine clean on its own monthly.

I use Auto Finesse Leather Cleaner to clean the leather for a fresh base to work on, I then use Auto Finesse Leather Conditioner massaged into the seats, works really well and gives a clean matte finish
Auto Finesse products are made in the UK, and are really good quality without an outrageous price

Nailed it on the head, I was too lazy to type out what sets Leatherique a level above.Originally Posted by Ezec63

I haven't done my front seats in about 3 months and the driver's side could use it. I will post before pics, during pics, and after pics to show the difference. I have two-tone black/white and the white is looking dirty and I hate seeing it like that.

I am a big fan of the Leather Masters products. Cleaner, Vital conditioner, and Protection cream.
No shine or greasy feeling. Been using it for years on my other cars (audi, Porsche). Very happy with results.
+1 on Rejuvenator if you need to go beyond normal maintenance.

it's going to be warm and sunny here this weekend so i'm going to give lexol another go before i buy something more expensive. Going to try some of the application tips from here rather than following the directions.....now i just need to find a soft brush for scrubbing.

I like the Maguiar's. What little shine it produces goes away quickly and it leaves a nice light scent also, which helps combat my super stinky AC!

Thanks Guys! Placed an order Thinking I'd rather get a wax type thicker substance and rub it in rather than a wipe on wipe off
