How do you clean/condition your leather interior?
I detail my interior (seats + trim) every couple of weeks with an Adams cleaner and Zymol leather conditioner. So far, the Zymol has been doing a good job but I am running on thin supply and also need something better. I am thinking of getting Adams leather conditioner or Swissvax leather milk. Has anyone used either of the two or any other brand. All suggestions welcome!
Btw, is the leather on our seats called Nappa leather?

I use meguiars leather conditioner, zymol is good too. I think Nappa leather is a term used for BMWs, when I had my E46 M3, the leather was referred to as Nappa leather. Our leather is "AMG performance leather" I could be wrong though as some people do refer to our leather as Nappa. When you condition your leather, does it leave a shine or does it dry up ?

Lexal took the sheen off for a bit and made them feel a little better but didn't last long . Meguires made the seats feel way too slick

Leatherique Leather Rejuvenator Oil followed by Leatherique Pristine Clean.
It is a VERY labor intensive process, that is going to require you setting a whole day to the side, but in my opinion its worth it. My seats do feel clean and supple after 3 years of Daily Driving use, and the only damage I have is a little bit worn off due to my big *** getting in and out of the car (as careful as I am, just cant get away from completely hitting the bolster.)
Also, using Pristine Clean on my steering wheel, feels so good after its clean. Love that feeling.

I use a 3 stage process.
I use Autoglym products (can be found locally in Toronto quite easily)
1. Brush the seat of all small debris and build up in the creases.
2. Clean and prep the leather with Autoglym leather cleaner. using a microfiber towel I wipe down the seats thoroughly.
3. After seats are cleaned and dry from the previous step, I massage in Autoglym leather care balm. Its an oil based product, I have tried several different methods of applying it, to be honest it works best by applying it using your hand. Almost like getting a good massage.
Let dry for an hour or 2 and your good to go

i've been using chemical guys' leather cleaner and leather conditioner, but have been severely underwhelmed by the two products. i can't really say it cleans much, nor does it condition well, unless i am not following instructions properly. after the cleaning and conditioning process, my seats seem unchanged. to be honest, most of the chemical guys' line of products have left me pretty disappointed.

I use Optimum Leather Protectant Plus.
Reasons why I like it:
1) No smell
2) Does not leave leather looking or feeling greasy/shiny
3) Restores leather's deep, natural color
4) Easy to apply

I was looking into this same topic a few weeks ago and decided to go with Leather Masters cleaner and conditioner.
Made for pre-treated leather on newer cars, no smell, no shine, no slippery surface. They recommend using the conditioner every 6 months.

Its actually fairly common amongst detailers.
Im sure application using a suitable cloth would be just as good. I just find hand massaging the seats allows for an even work in.

It's actually really enjoyable massaging the seats.

Call me crazy, but I use coconut oil.
You end up with really soft and durable leather, and the smell dissipates in less than a day.

This thread made me think it was time to do mine. Out with the Lexol for clean and condition. Unfortunately with such a nice result my other half got me to do the family room leather couches as well.

I have tried some of the fancy stuff online as well. Like the chemical guys / sonax / swissvax etc.
Not only is the stuff fairly expensive when I factor in shipping / duties and taxes. I hate not having things when I need it.
I switched to brands that i can find locally, IMHO the outcome is the same. Im no pro detailer by any means. But spend enough time with the car to ensure its taken care of.
Any of you in Canada, try the autoglym products. I use the full line with great success. You can score some decent deals on them when they go on sale! I love the engine degreaser. Keeps the bay nice and clean.
