Nice. So did you have the chrome window trim all vinyl wrapped, or did you just paint it? I like the look, as this is how I had planned on doing mine as well. Is the grille painted as well? Looks sharp.
Cheers,
Howie
P.S. How do you post images?

Trying to revive this thread as there have been some changes since I last posted to it - mainly the Renn Sport RS-51 wheels with PSS tires.
Coming soon are some CF bits from RW Carbon - BS front lip, Big fin rear diffuser, Side-view mirror covers and (hopefully) side skirt extensions.

You know, when I saw these wheels on the for sale thread, I actually was completely indifferent to them. I thought "eh, just another wheel", but on your car, I've completely changed my mind.
They look really, really good.

Having had them on for about a month now, my impressions/feedback on them is all positive thus far:
-The wheels are extremely light (only about 20 lbs each)
-The wheel/tire combo fills out the wheel well nicer than OEM wheels/tires
-The wider width of the wheels allowed me to go with wider tires than OEM
-I have received several compliments on the new setup
The craziest part is that the MPSS tires actually cost slightly more than the wheels. Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone who likes this style of wheel.

Your car looks great and the new wheels look sick! However, if you needed a sedan..why didn't you jump into an E90 M3? Btw your E93 looked incredible as well! Was that Interlagos Blue?

Thanks! I considered the M3 when I was switching to a sedan but I had owned an M3 for a few years and wanted to switch it up. And, yes, that was the Interlagos Blue Metallic. It had the upgraded silver novillo leather too. It was a really sweet car.

Very sick combo! I've been a Bimmer fanatic for years now and I've been a part of E90post for almost five years now!

How hard is it to remove the chrome DRL surrounds to paint them? I have to get those blacked out as well as my trunk chrome strip.

Honestly I had a body shop paint the entire front grill, DRL surrounds, 6.3 AMG emblems on the front fenders and rear chrome strip... so I have no idea how hard it is so remove them.

Thanks man, I appreciate it.

So I've been eyeing some CF pieces up for a while and finally bit the bullet and placed an order with RW Carbon...
- CF front lip - BS style
- CF big-fin rear diffuser
- CF side skirt extensions
- CF mirror covers
I have an appointment with the body shop 5/26-5/27 to get it all installed. This is going to be the longest two weeks of my life. But just one more reason to look forward to Memorial Day Weekend. Woo hoo!

My appointment got pushed back a week, but my baby went in for her carbon fiber "cosmetic enhancements" on Wednesday and I'll pick up today. Below is a pic from when I dropped it off. You can see all the CF parts sitting on the ground to the left. Cant wait to get there today - It's like Christmas morning!
On a side note, I am strongly considering getting spacers for the rear wheels to push them out a little bit as well as new lug bolts all around. Any suggestions from people with experience in spacers/lug bolts is greatly appreciated.

My apologies for the delay here. I've had the car back for nearly a month now. Here she is with the RW Carbon goodies: BS front lip, mirror covers, side skirt extensions and rear diffuser (which you can't see in the pic). These pieces have completely transformed the look of the car IMO and I've fallen in love all over again. What do you think?

Nice car man, love the setup! Still debating if I'm going to dechrome my car as well. Nice to see someone else who has the same 2-tone interior color. I bought it sight unseen and was worried I was going to hate it but now I love it with the 2-tone sand/black. Sweet car bro!

It has been a while since I've updated this thread, and there are a lot of updates to share. Here are some upgrades coming in the near future.
CKS Performance - Carbon Fiber DRL Surrounds - Does anyone have any feedback on these? I've been a part of this forum for a few years now and I haven't seen anyone with these on their car. I'll be sure to post pics and provide feedback on them once received. http://www.cksperformance.com/produc...***&model=w204
Revozport - Carbon Fiber Front Grill and Carbon Fiber Induction System - a big thanks for Phil Chow for hooking up a great price on these two pieces. I ordered them last week and will post pics and provide feedback once received. I am especially excited about the front grill as I have yet to see one in person. (I purchased these parts directly through Revozport with the help of Phil Chow but linked them through other sites because the Revozport site is a PITA.)

Wavetrac Limited Slip Differential - I purchased from Vivid Racing (working with Justin). He was also able to order the carrier bearings for me directly from Mercedes. One would be hard-pressed to find the Wavetrac LSD and new carrier bearings for cheaper than i got them through Vivid. The price was ~$400 less than they are sold from Wesitec. I also ordered new axel seals through the dealership. It is all ready to be installed in a few weeks.

MBH Long-Tube Headers, Mid-Pipe, X-Pipe - I purchased these directly through Mike @ MBH during their Black Friday Sale. If you had your eye on a set of these, you missed your opportunity to get these for a great price. If you've never seen them, they are gorgeous in person. The flawless welds and "smooth as a baby's bottom" insides are a sight to behold - top notch in every sense. The headers are getting ceramic coated as we speak and these will be installed in a few weeks with the Wavetrac.

Custom Eurocharged Dyno Tune by Jerry Thornton - Jerry is traveling to Minneapolis for a dyno tune day on April 22nd. I already have their V5 tune, but I'll have headers installed by then and am very much looking forward to him maxing out my HP and TQ!
A couple things that I have my eye on, but have not pulled the trigger...
Weistec Oil/Air Separator - I will be getting one of these sooner vs. later, but they seem to pop-up all the time 'for sale' here on MBWorld and I am hoping to not have to pay full retail. If you know someone selling one, please let me know.
Carbon Fiber (painted at least partially) or a 507-style vented hood - hood vents are both functional on our cars (due to heat soak) and I also think they look aggressive and bada$$. If you know someone selling one, again, let me know.
SO, those are my 2017 off-season upgrades. I am really looking forward to the 2017 car season - rallies, car shows, track events, drag strip, cruises - gonna do it all!
If you have any feedback/suggestions/comments, please share. Here's one of my favorite pics from last season, courtesy of my buddy Nick (that drives a beautiful CLS55)...
