Finally ordered an external mic setup for my GoPro. Took it out to test in both my C63 and Gallardo. Really happy with how the sound turned out! Much better than hearing nothing but wind noise! Had the mic between the plate and the left exhaust tip. Might try in the center next time and see how it sounds.

Echoing what others have asked, can you post a link to the microphone equipment you are using? I have a GoPro Hero3+ Silver and I'd prefer to mount it inside my car with an external microphone on the exterior.

I pretty much used this article as a guideline and bought all the parts they linked to, except for the fuzzy cover, I found a different one on Amazon to use. The site they link to doesn't seem to be selling them currently. Originally Posted by zibby43
