Weistec Intake

I'm thinking of doing Weistec's intake which includes high flow air filters and ROW airbox. Both of them together would cost $724.00 and they claim each gains 5-10hp. So with the ROW air box and high flow air filter by weistec, gains could be up to 10-20 hp. Was wondering if this is a good idea and if it's safe? Has anyone else done this on their C63 by Weistec? Thanks in advance.

don't have it. but ill tell you for that money. if you get an ecu tune its more bang for the buck.

Order the ROW airbox from Parts.com. They come with the airbox and MAF sensor.

P/N: 1560940406 (Right) - $169.50
P/N: 1560940306 (Left) - $169.50

And the Weistec filters are $174.99 (Pair) when you order them from their website.

Yeah I got an ecu tune by ETG and dynoed it after. 422whp and 530hp to the crank. If I did the intake then it would be about 540 to 550hp afterwards.

Even better, order the ROW air boxes from ECS Tuning... $324 for the set!

For an extra $160 you can get them with AFE ProDry S Filters. I have ordered this exact setup. They are currently on backorder from Germany but are expected to arrive on 4/20/15.

I have that setup including ECU V5 tune by Eurocharged. I have a 2013 Coupe as well. I did the tune just after break-in, then added ROWS and Filters from Weistec. I haven't experienced any problems CEL or other...if that gives you any peace of mind. I haven't dyno'd the car but most likely comparable to others with similar mods...

I followed a mod another guy did to US market air boxes. Seems to do the same trick. There is a large amount of plastic removed, and it can be done clean if you take some time.
