c63 down on power.
Hi guys,
Had my car now for some time and its had a few modifications.
Headers (shorties), primary cat delete ( stock cats opened and gutted) secondary cats removed stock res and stock rear boxes,
K&N drop in filters
Eurocharged map v5
When the headers were fitted cats gutted and map added the car madr a healthy 556bhp on the Dyno Dynamics Dyno, April 2014
Since then the car has covered approx 5000 miles - no faults or problems and only ever ran on shell v-power
Yesterday the car went back on the same dyno and made 518bhp, we found this very strange so we re loaded the map (my genius) and again the car ran a smooth 517, 518 bhp ..... no obvious problems just a few ponies missing
The ONLY diff this time to the car is that the fuel light was on, still had just under a qtr of a tank left of fuel.
It drives fine! But where has the power gone??

Car feels fine although ive not had chance to boot it to much, ive thought it may have been the dyno but other cars made expected power.

ford svt's, and C63!!!
I'm guessin your first dyno session was maybe a fluke, or the dyno's settings have since then changed. Imho, that's still a lot of power without even having long-tube headers.

maybe, but i have 3 runs of 550 (on the day) is it possible it was a fluke ? Or could the stock res collapsed and restricted gas flow since then as its running no cats?

I said this, its the same dyno but in a new unit so its moved 3 miles to the new building, but the tuners are adamant its not the dyno and are saying other cars are making expected power.
Think i need another dyno.

Ford Truck, 2014 C63 AMG 507
If you know anyone else that dyno'ed on the 550 day round them up and have them dyno their car at the new location.
Even if you pay for their dyno its worth it to see if you can narrow it to the car or dyno.

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
Run it down the 1/4 mile and let that be the determinant
