C63 vs M4
#26
a tuned 335I on pump gas is dead even with a tuned and test pipe E90m3. been there and done that race. I still own my E90m3 thats now FBO and the wife has the c63 tuned. stock vs stock m3f80 vs c63 looses this races by a cars lenght. the m3 is just lighter making the same at the wheels no beating that. Now I've also ran my buddy after he got down pipes vs mine after tune and from a 40 it's dead even but from a 60 he is out 1-2 cars.
alotta guys on this forum maybe get into their car and WOT it 5-10% of the time..thats why you get raped, the car has adapted to drive like a 82 year old grandmother, I know because when my car sat for 2 months without being started, it ran like junk until I reflashed the tune.
Idk how you guys even consider a 335i/M series a worthly competitor, i don't even acknowledge them anymore, chuck me a newer ferrari - already beaten a 04 gallardo but im pretty sure a 2010 kia soul could.
Like I've said, 80% driver , 20% car, which is why you see old guys in **** box junkers on 1320 video murdering young bucks with their "done up imports"

then you sir, need to throw your wife out of the drivers seat, and beat on the c63..because ive raced a stage 2 M3 and I walked him bad then he has the ***** to rip off a red light onto a 90degree turn and says he "beat me" at a turn

on the second part while the c63 the straight line winner against the v8 m3 it is not when it comes to the road course. this is tried and proven that the m3 E90 body does in fact out handle our c63 w204 body.
Final point a FBO e85 335i makes 430 with damn near matching torque in a car that weighs 400lbs if not more less. unless the drive just sucks your not going to out right destroy one.

^^ as for the M3, it was a 2008-ish ...active auto werks stage 2, i looked under the hood and everything..it sounded pretty sick, he said it pushed around 510whp but i doubt it cause at the time i only had a EC V5 tune and row boxes, he kept going off how he gets "heat soak" so who knows but a crowd of people watched it happen..id pull up the text messages again of the congratulations but im kind of busy today and ive posted all the proof in another thread
430whp isn't that wild, my car pushed i think 413whp stock (some guy posted a week or 2 ago and ran 398 or 403 WHP stock) i live right at sea level so the air is always cool and crisp which helps because when i do travel into the mountains my car is quite a bit more sluggish
like ive said before, if i went to alberta to the rockies..i'd probably get walked on by 300whp evos cause thats what happens when youre 1,000 feet above sea level with N/A

Good lawd it's hard understanding either of you guys...please type in proper format and English holy **** @@
I would never sleep on a 335i especially one that challenges us in a C63 or M3 and what have you
FBO e85 335i's can hurt a lot of peoples' feelings, plus now upgraded turbos are readily available

theres many people who have 550+ BHP with a tune and row boxes ...600bhp isn't that long of a strech with a custom tune/exhaust/pulley and some other things, my car ran 470whp with a EC4 tune and ROW Boxes...like 2 mods...i've had a exhaust and a custom tune + pulley since then...a custom tune you can easily squeeze another 30-40whp out of

430whp in a 4k car Yes that is what a C63 does weigh. Now take that 430whp and put it in a car weight once again nother note 400lbs less and that is a big difference. You know that think called power to weight??
I live in miami florida the c63 I have is tune and I've never raced a E9x m3 and lost But again We are talking about a F80/f82 that would be the 2015 m3/m4. I'm not sure how you keep missing that so like I said before You have never ran a stage 2 f80 and won that race allmotor. its just not happening... bud
Just for info the New m3 again F80 On tune alone nothing else is making 460whp with 480wtq and they weigh in at 3550. Thats just tune. that same car on dyno pipes and JB4 on E85 made 540WHp with 520TQ again in a lighter car with a better tranny.

A few of us have been talking about the E9x M3 as a comparison, so there are a couple of tangents here.

look at his comment that he quoted from me and then reread what I said. No one was talking about racing a e92 vs c63 it's not a race to compare unless on a road course anyway.

Things got really confusing in here..
I owned a 2008 E92 M3 DCT, My cousin with a tune only 335i stayed with me when I was stock neck and neck from a 40 roll.
After My E92 M3 was FBO and Tuned I put about 2 cars on his tune only 335i.
I raced a FBO C63 in my FBO E92 M3 and it wasn't even close, I let off at 3 car lengths of a beating.
I now have a E63 M156 (after my E60 M5 troubles), go figure.
Point blank a F80 M3 with a tune would beat any FBO Tuned M156 car. Less weight and more power in the F80 M it's all logic.
