Of course, but the thing is the engine doesn't drive these parts faster. At 5000rpm, the parts are moving at the same speed wether you're making 400rwhp or 500rwhp. They do accelerate faster though.

I don't know maybe the real life number is in between a fix % and a fix hp loss number. But if we push the example to the extreme, would a 900rwhp C63 (not really plausible but bear with me) have 150rwhp of drivetrain loss? Maybe but I doubt it.

It might be just me that has a hard time picturing it in my head.
