My modest build thread
Thought I should create a build thread since its been a while since Xena the warrior princess came home (thats what I lovingly call my C63) I never created a build thread for my previous C63 (not that either of them is as heavily modified as some of the rides here) but I have gone few mods on her already and planning some in the future.
First thing I started off with was the Eurocharged V5 tune. I had it on my previous C63 and the new one didn't quite feel the same. Hats off to team Eurocharged for their great customer service and for giving me a great deal for being a repeat customer.
I had straight pipes on my white C63 but felt that it was a tad too loud. Luckily, another forum member @abcut973 was parting out his C63 sedan and in that process, I ended up buying his H pipe off him. Although he's not a seller/sponsor on his forum, the packaging and fast shipping rivaled that of many sponsor companies on here lol.
Next, it was time to add some CF goodies so I purchased the JL motoring diffuser from Tal@ACG, Mode carbon spoiler from Nicholas@Mode carbon and CF mirror caps from RW carbon and got them installed in one go. She transformed quite a bit after these additions. I had great buying experience from all the 3 guys and will not hesitate doing business with them again.
I am not a big fan of chrome and especially on red, the chrome pieces get highlighted. So the chrome had to go or atleast get hidden. I got the window trim wrapped in gloss black from Don, who is also a sponsor on this forum. Straight up guy and does quality work, will definitely recommend.
For the other chrome parts, emblems, and grille, I took the Rice-y route and plastidipped them. The result is good but I need to find something more permanent and bit more classier than spray rubber paint.
Here are some pics along with my DD. Next mod will H&R springs plus spacers and a BS hood if my bank balance says an emphatic yes.

Hey Sidv22 the car looks great. I agree on the H&R and spacers to give Xena a proper stance. She is a tuned athlete after all.
How about some details on how you blacked out the trim, type of window tints and what spoiler and diffuser you are rocking.
Looking great.

The A5 is a great car and my daily driver. I have had it for more than 4 years and no issues yet (knock on wood) Comfortable to drive and handling is good for city as well as highway. Of course, the power is no where near AMG powaaa, but I drive in heavy traffic for 60 miles everyday and she gets the job done with no hassle. And surprisingly, the A5 has more road presence than the AMG. I have got more compliments for the A5 than the C63.
I have 35% all round suntek CXP and I found it to be better than the 3M cystalline on the Audi. The window trim is wrapped with gloss black vinyl although I am not sure of the manufacturer. Diffuser is JL motoring diffuser coz its a big fin diffuser and bigger fins are better
