Throttle Position Sensor CEL
I'm doing a little autocrossing and small-track events, and I'm frequently seeing this:
This has never happened on the street (probably because it isn't being driven that hard), but shows up a lot when the car is being pushed. I seems to happen immediately after a little (and I mean VERY little) wheel spin on low-speed corner exits. It causes the car to throw a throttle position sensor CEL, pops an alert that it has disabled stability control, and drops the car into limp mode. A restart immediately clears the stability control alert but leaves the CEL on. A couple more restarts seems to clear he CEL light.
I've not seen this posted so I presume that it is not a common problem. What should we start looking for to fix this?

I've actually had a similar problem on regular driving in the rain. I had a little wheel spin and then cel light went on. I was also in limp mode and the car stuttered a little under acceleration. Restart cleared it after one try.

I had a failed throttle actuator once in an SLK. it started infrequently, but eventually failed completely. I needed a new throttle valve/actuator assembly. Was under warranty.

Update - dealer service report says they "found no codes on ME control unit" - I guess because the check engine light self-clears after several cycles? I thought something that looks as major as this would have been saved.
They did a "541011 QUICK TEST PERFORM" (drive it like you stole it? I probably don't want to know what happened here.) and found code C219700, followed guided tests, and replaced the accelerator pedal.
I'll update in a couple weeks when I next have a chance to test it.

quick test is when you hook up the computer for diagnostics and check for codes (doesnt even involve driving the car). guided test - is to do the testing for the outlined fault.

Repair seems effective. Ran an autocross last weekend, had no no throttle problems and the car didn't ever drop into limp mode.

I’m getting c219700 followed by c326600
And I have the same problem aswell when I floor the gas it goes into limp mode and the accelerator pedal is deactivated and I get esp unavailable the thing is it’s so infrequent I assuming it only happens when there is a wheel spin because I purposely drive it hard asf today and the limp didn’t happen but I still have the codes
Was the c219700 the only code you got? Or anyone else cuz I will replace the accelerator but I’m getting the other code so I don’t want to through parts at it
