I have not seen any units that other vendors sell so I cannot comment on them.
UPD units are made out of billet aluminum, are anodized and used ZZ rated bearing. And our price point is lower.

These are back in stock. Ready to ship.
FYI the factory ribbed idler on the bottom has been replaced by a smooth idler with an updated part number from the factory, so when you receive a smooth idler please don't get confused we have sent you the billet smooth idler in accordance with the updated part number.

No Problem! This could not have been better timing. One of the old pulleys was about to explode. Bearings were rattling around like a baby toy. Strongly recommend this for anyone up in the mileage. I am at 85,000.

Here is some feedback. If you have a bottom rib pulley, you will need an updated bolt for the OEM smooth pulley for a proper fit. Other than that, the quality is awesome.

I wish I had seen these back in February of last year when I got Weistec pulleys ($600). These look identical to the VRP pulleys that are $500. I totally would have gotten these instead.

Thank you

We have been in business longer VRP and these pulleys were introduced before Weistec was offering them.
All VRP does is copy item from other vendors

Got mine in with a new belt. 20 minutes to pull the radiator fan and it was a simple install.

Original pulleys with 38k miles. Some had a little play in them. Good preventative maintenance I suppose.

Tensioner pulley doing its thing.

You are the man! It took me about 4 hours of cursing to get the fan out of there without disconnecting hoses and 2 hours to get it wedged back in. I couldn't get the pulley off the tensioner with assy on the car so I removed the tensioner unit first. The tensioner pulley bolt and keeper washer were a little bent and they didnt sell just the parts by themselves, so I ended up having to get a new belt tensioner assy to install. In retrospect I should have just disconnected the two upper radiator hoses that the fan surround kept getting stuck on when I was trying to pull it out of the top and put in new coolant after, but I was trying to not make a mess. In the long run it would have been more efficent. But some people are able to get it out fairly easy so YMMV.

Has anyone who installed a aftermarket pulley set had any serpentine belt discoloration from it? I was driving my car pretty hard and doing a lot of pulls and when I looked in the engine I noticed the outside of the serpentine belt ( the non ribbed portion) was now silver colored. I was wondering if this is normal or that I may have a pulley that is not spinning completely causing the belt to wear /rub against it?
