the best way I know without harming the fiber
1 brush the fiber with a soft bristle tooth brush.
2 baby shampoo with water 50/50 mix in a spray bottle
3 bunch of white socks ( clean 😂 ).
Gently brush off the fibers dry 1st
Spray the fiber and pat the wheel - repeat this till the socks come out clean and no more dirt.
Spray the wheel with plain water
Repeat the patting all over again till the wheel is mostly dry.
Once it's really dry brush it again with the tooth brush
Enjoy!

I agree with Mike.
Alcantara wheels (as much as they look great) are a pain in the ***. Especially for daily driven cars. They get so dirty. I would also recommend driving gloves with Alcantara wheels. Over time no amount of cleaning will keep it looking good.

I use water and light colored microfiber towel ( you can see the dutty come off). Gently grip and turn. do it really lightly or you will ruin the alcantara.
let dry before driving. btw towel just have to be damp not soaked.

If you want to get real fancy and serious with it.
First clean it with sonax alcantara cleaner. http://www.detailersdomain.com/SONAX...er_p_1030.html
Then seal it with leather masters alcantara protectant https://www.detailersdomain.com/Leat...or_p_1022.html
And finally use a suede brush very lightly to bring back all the furriness it worked amazingly well on my wheel

I have the alcantara/DINAMICA seating inserts on my C63. I use a vacuum with a crevice tool to clean the seats each week. It's easy to identify which areas are "dirty" and the vacuum takes care of any lint, etc. with ease. Furthermore, the vacuum helps to "raise" the fibers after they've been matted down.
For light stains, I just use a damp (warm water) terry cloth towel to lightly dab any areas that need attention.
Seats still look like new!

you do NOT even need to get the alcantara wet!!!!!!!!! pick up a 2pk of Mr. Clean Magic Erasers and with light to moderate pressure clean the alcantara section with a top to bottom motion.....i promise you that it will clean all of the gunk, grit, grime and grease out of the fibers and leave it looking like new....i keep one in my center console and touch it up about once a month.......you will be amazed at what it does

Am I to take it that you are not wetting the eraser at all? straight up bone dry out of the package?
Also, I keep some nitrile gloves in the glove box all the time for whenever I handle something when Im out and about. I have spiky hair and I use a product called Dax Wax which is actually a moustache wax, and it really keeps my hair in place but its not water soluble and would matt the alcantara instantly. If I ever throw any gunk in my hair I grab a nitrile, then just toss it after. They have been handy for a ton of car based things, and always nice to have, but a life saver with alcantara.
Thank you for joining us for todays episode of Highway HairCare, Im your host 604 C63. Join us next week when the topic will be tint - should your windows match your hair? Should your wife's carpet match her drapes? Should you encourage her to move to easy care hardwood? Germans have always been big on carpet, but the Brazilian approach is finding favour. All this and more, on the next Highway HairCare. Until then say yes to horsepower, and no to split ends!

My Alcantara steering wheel was completely matted.
10 min of hard scrubbing with a dry Magic Eraser brought it back to nearly-new.

A final step is taking a razor blade and dragging it like you you would shaving your face. It brings the uniformity back to it and looks like factory new. Alcantara strand stretch with time and this keeps it looking new (with the other steps mentioned. Magic eraser is good but getting it damp before you brush limits friction tearing of the fibers).

Tried the magic eraser and wasn't comfortable with how much pressure it was taking to get gunk out , started leaving white specs from the eraser.
Need to get some good boars hair brushes for the leather and wheel
