240 mph speedometer
How available is the 240 mph speedometer and how difficult is it to install and calibrate?
I'm thinking realistically I will have to let the Dealer do it.
How much expense am I looking at?

Is there really a need? You've got a digital readout if you ever get beyond the 200 that's listed already. Besides, where would you possibly do this legally and safely?

This has nothing to do with the question. Maybe he just likes the number 240 better than 200.

To the OP, I don't believe that this is something you want to do on your own. The electrical signal driving the gage would need to be rescaled for the higher range.

It's an SLS speedometer apparently(which is still stupid). That style is on a few newer Mercedes it would appear. Didn't it look a little different to you?

Also, this is the very definition of r.i.c.e.

You guys dont use google much do ya? Brabus makes them upto 400km



Also AMG itself makes ones upto 380 or 360 ...either way on a C63 it's pointless ...no need to go that fast..on a S65 yeah sure go for it

Dear God that music was horrible. And that person is a moron for going that fast without a seatbelt...or maybe smart since you probably die anyways in a crash. Might as well finish the job instead of being a vegetable.

I don't see the point of the 240 mph speedo. Maybe updating to the facelift cluster, but even that doesn't buy you much.

Look, in honesty, i think it would be cool to have a 400kmh speedo. But that brabus one looks ugly. I dont like the fonts they use.
Reminds me of a standard W204.

Anyway, i am selling an update cluster is anyone is interested. its in the for sale section.
OP could buy that and modify!!!
