What should I get ? 2012 C63 or 2013 or 2014 ?

I am considering getting a CPO 2012, 2013, or 2014 C63 coupe

I can save a good amount if I get a low mileage 2012

Were there any problems with the 2012 model that were corrected in 2013 or 2014

What were the differences between the years

Any other advice you could give me would be very much appreciated.

Of course, get the most recent and/or lowest mileage within your means. But they are all the same 12-14, except the more recent ones will have updated NAV maps maybe.

Since 2012 was the first year for the coupe were there any issues that you know of?

I read sometimes the tranny has to be removed, taken apart, and put back together...if I have no warranty left...what do you think that would set me back?

I'm not sure why the tranny would need to be removed but to answer the question, mostly labor costs (if nothing is wrong), say an avg $120 per hour. Like everyone else has said though, no difference in 2012-14. Get one with the options/color you want and prepare to be happy!

if i recall correctly 2014 added a few bells and whistles like folding side mirror as an option and i think upgraded the lcd display for better color resolution, but i cant really remember full details....also possible that came in 13

bottom line, get the newest lowest mileage you can afford and if its a 2012 and the warranty is getting near the end....extended warranty!

There were no changes between those model years. In Canada ALL 2014s were 507s, but then again, the 2013 with the APX package (P30 suspension, P31 forged engine internals, compound brakes and LSD) was also a 507 except for the ricer stripes on the sides, the hood nostrils and in name.

Get the best car with the best options. All other things being equal, IMHO an unmolested car with an LSD and the P31 pack (if you're in the US) is a much better buy than one without regardless of vintage.
