The stock resonator actually contains a mini H-pipe, that is why a lot of people feel that the h-pipe retains the AMG sound a lot better. I personally love my straight-pipe resonator delete. So many backfires!!

I am very curious about the "sound change" of the x-pipe though. I am planning to replace the secondary cat with it and have been debating it for a while as a lot of people claim it "softens" or "muffles".

None for now
If you're not gonna install headers, straight pipe the resonator and/or secondary cats. If you're doing headers, you need an X-pipe.

And when you're ready for headers I recommend MBH!
