I'm picking up a 2009 next week with 30k miles that has been garaged under a cover it's entire life. I hope the car will last for a while, as it will be my daily and only driver until it gets close to winter (then I'll lease something to drive in winter).

How many of you perform your own maintenance?

With regular up keep, it should last like any other car. As long as you could afford the gas bill, you are good to go.
