Will I have a headbolt issue?
I will be purchasing a 2010 C63 with P31 and am worried if I will have a future headbolt issue. I know that the mid 2010 were relieved of this issue but is there a way I can know if this car will have an issue or not?

And again, this is a possible issue. Keep in mind that the forum population is going to be saturated with people who've had issues, as they're the ones who take to the internet for research and to post of their issues. I'm sure there are thousands of engines in the affected date range without issue, whose owners haven't posted on forums regarding issues they don't have (why would they?).

Post your VIN in the following thread and Joe will run the data card to see if the car falls into the affected date range:

agreed with roadtal, everyones way to paranoid...your intake manifold will blow up before your headbolts trust me, And the intake manifold costs 25% more, headbolts are like 3-4grand ...intake manifold is 4-8grand depending where/how you get it. No point in buying a used intake manifold either cause it probably will have the same problem down the road
