ranky smell
I've had my car for two months and the average temp has been very hot at 30 degrees Celsius. Whenever gunning the car at high speeds I was getting a very stinky smell in the cabin. I was going nuts trying to figure out how it was entering the car. My mech said it was the cats. Today the temp dropped to about 24 degrees Celsius and I really pounded on her and there is no smell
Correct me if I am wrong; when the cats get to be very hot they omit a terrible stench? A stench so bad that I smell it in the car? If this is true what does this say about my cats? Normal?

I have zero idea about the cats and my suggestion may not help but... Whenever I would get in the car on a warm day and turn the air on I would get a musty smell. Changed the cabin air filter and voila no more smell.

I suggested changing the cabin filter in one of OP's other threads. Guessing he hasn't yet? Be worthwhile to try if not..
